Clover Beading

My name is Jessica Placy. I create wearable art with beads.  Making designs with beads is like drawing one pixel at a time, but completely off grid. I can never totally predict how the beads will nest or the image will unfold. And sometimes they don't. But when everything hits just rights, there is a lot of comfort in the concentric rows of beads and the feel of the piece (touch the beads!). Hopefully the image will strike a smile or your fancy or a nerve.
I have been beading since I was in elementary school. I continue to bead to keep my hands and mind busy and out of trouble. I love that I can bead anywhere and snack at the same time. Until recently, everything I have created has gone to friends, family, and curious strangers. By sharing my work here, I am hoping to spread the love a little wider.
