“Inspired by a photo by Steve McCurry, I was moved to paint my impression of this when inadvertently caused some emotional pain to someone I care for deeply. The small flower bunches are used on certain festivals in India as offerings for forgiveness and blessings on all people and then tossed into the Ganges River.”
