In Winter, a Kiss of Spring

“In a snow storm the winter before my wife died, I was struggling to find hope that there would be something for her - and me - to look forward for. I remembered how excited she was when the first crocus would peek out of the snow. I have painted a whole bouquet of flowers in her memory.”
