Goodnight Jamaica

“On one of our last trips together, my wife was quite moved by the sunsets on the beach in Jamaica after a storm. I took seven pictures before I was satisfied, that I had captured the many-colored reflection. Seven years later as she struggled with Alzheimer's, I painted my impression of the photo to help her remember the colors.”
