Butterfly Bush: Welcome Home

“Painted during the first quarantine of the pandemic. I had a neighbor whose porch I could see from my porch, and he had a butterfly bush in a planter. The bush was monochromatic purple, but I did some web research and found that someone had created a variety that had multiple colors. I have tried to capture the chaos of the colors in the bush and in the butterflies.”
